My climate anxiety is more global, less personal, as the area I live in will be less affected than other areas. However, I feel a deep sense of loss for the insects, song birds and trees we have lost. For the last three decades everytime I drove by an open space for sale for development I would cry inside that I could not buy it and save it. Now, I see no more such signs. The fields are all gone, except for those that are protected. The grief I feel is bottomless.

For sure there are all kinds of climate anxiety — this sense of loss is so massive. Bottomless grief sounds about right.
